As the first point of contact for our supporters, your sense of customer service, sociability and easy contact will be your major assets for this function. But to be fully effective, you must also be able to demonstrate strong administrative skills, precision, rigor and regularity.
You have a Bachelor's degree and minimum 2 years’ experience in a front-line service.
Your sense of service has to be equally effective in both of our national languages. You are able to communicate in French as well in Dutch, both orally and in writing, with our supporters. You have a good working knowledge of English.
You are available to start by the end of January 2017.
Description
WWF acts to stop the degradation of our planet’s natural environment and to build a future in which humans live in harmony with nature, by conserving the world’s biological diversity, ensuring that the use of natural resources is sustainable, and promoting the reduction of pollution and wasteful consumption.
Our values are: Knowledgeable – Optimistic – Determined – Engaging
Your mission
As a “Supporters Service Officer”, you are the single point of contact for our supporters.
You deliver a clean and qualitative service for people who support the organization. These people are vital to the organization, and therefore we require a qualitative oral and written communication when they make contact with us by phone or e-mail.
Your challenge
You are the voice of WWF for our donors and supporters. They believe in our work and activities and they rely on us to make them proud of their contribution. Being 100% convinced yourself with our mission, you are able to share and transmit it to our main target group.
You will receive various questions, requests, reactions and concerns by phone and email (inbound) and the answers that you will bring will build or strengthen their confidence in our organization. You support change requests into the database, manage eventual reimbursements (in collaboration with Accounting), encode manual payments, update the procedures...
Naturally, we don’t only wait for reactions. We want to get to know our supporters and this is where your commercial sense will help us to reflect pro-actively about how we can better serve them, inform or involve them in our conservation actions (outbound).
You are also responsible for the quality of our supporter’s database and you are in regular contact with our suppliers and external partners.
What we offer:
- A permanent contract on a full time basis.
- An attractive package including meal vouchers, pension insurance, hospitalization insurance, 100% refund on public transport costs.
- A pleasant working environment in the Centre of Brussels, easily accessible by public transportation.
- The opportunity to contribute to the mission of WWF and to share the values of our organization to which you adhere naturally.
