AgriCord, for its small central office in Brussels, Belgium, is looking for a:
FINANCIAL ADVISOR- Full Time
What do we expect you to do?
Related to programs:
- Exchange continuously with our implementing partners and donors in a constant aim to get problems solved and smoothen processes
- Assist our implementing partners in financial reporting and management.
- More specifically: in charge of the financial follow-up and reporting of a worldwide multi-stakeholder program with EU financing
- Participate in the definition, elaboration and implementation of financial management processes for the alliance
- Provide financial reporting support to Program Managers
Related to the Central Office:
- Assist with the annual closing of the accounts and prepare documents for external audits
- Help revising financial procedures and keep them up to date
- Help your colleagues when needed with whatever financial management task
What’s it we expect you to have in your backpack?
- You have a master diploma in an economy related field or have gathered enough experience to be equivalent
- You have at least 3 years of working experience, preferably in an international development cooperation environment
- And if you have already experience in managing EU programs, we will be absolutely delighted!
- You are a results-oriented problem solver with a can-do attitude, with great analytical skills
- A global vision and a broad interest will come in handy, as well as experience of working in a multicultural setting
- As we are a bilingual organization, good knowledge of English and French are necessary and knowledge of Spanish and/or Dutch is a real asset
- Needless to say, we expect you to be a self-starter with an ability to work efficiently under pressure and to tight deadlines
