Profil
This is a good match for you if
- You have a Master’s degree in a relevant field is required (political sciences, ecology, environmental or related disciplines), or relevant work experience related to the topic
- You have minimum 2 years relevant experience in Policy & Public Affairs and a demonstrated experience in successfully influencing decision-making processes
- You have a knowledge of the Belgian political system
- You have demonstrated experience in building coalitions to support your campaign plan
- You have the ability to lead and manage meetings and represent our organisation externally.
- You are an excellent communicator: ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders and media (acting as spoc when needed)
- You have the experience of synthesising complex information, regulations and policies and translating them into actionable, impactful and easily understood advice and communications
- You have demonstrated ability in project management
- You are fluent in French and Dutch and you have a very good knowledge of English.

Description
Are you ready to be part of something great?
As an Advocacy Campaign Officer, you will manage the elections campaign for WWF Belgium. This entails coordinating and driving the elections project management, the elections taskforce and public campaign.
Deep dive into the role:
- You coordinate the elections core team: You organize, coordinate and lead taskforce meetings. You supervise the work of service providers or consultants if needed.
- You implement the campaign plan & set deliverables, following the budget, timing, milestones & coherence of the messaging and its outputs.
- You follow-up the implementation of the communication plan, lead by the Campaign Manager, and actively search for advocacy opportunities.
- You co-develop and implement policy messaging.
- You liaise with the European Policy Office and ensure coherence between the EU and Belgian elections messages.
- You explore collaborations with other organizations that might enlarge the outreach of our messages.
- You develop campaign materials: campaign plans, advocacy packs, presentations and other briefing materials and content for internal and external use.
