Profil

We are looking for someone having experience in inclusion, rights, advocacy and civil-society capacity building including in fragile contexts and with conflict-affected people.

Fixed-term contract under French law, starting as from January 2016 for 10 months. The position is open for a departure as single, couple or in family.

Description

Handicap International is looking for a Technical Advisor for his Syrian Disability Representation Regional Project;  to guide and supervise the technical component of the project's national and regional activities, with a focus on supporting disparate groups of refugees from Syria having a disability; to understand, advocate for and claim their rights.

Coordinator for Handicap International’s “Regional Middle East Projects” and “Jordan Projects”, - based in Amman – 24 months contract starting in July 2015

Handicap International recruits a coordinator – based in Amman - to coordinate and ensure a quality development and implementation for all the projects in Jordan as well as all the regional (multi-country) Middle-East projects of Handicap International. The contract starts in July 2015 for 24 months.

Responsibilities include : the overall project cycle management with strong emphasis on projects development, management of projects teams and managers, upholding quality in all actions, planning, means allocation and mobilization, financial supervision, partnership management, networking for the actions and specific communication.
