Description
CONTEXT
WWF believes in a future where people and nature thrive, so we’re committed to safeguarding the natural world. WWF has teams of experts working in over 100 countries to protect the natural resources that sustain and inspire us: our forests, rivers, oceans, climate, food and wildlife. WWF harnesses the collective power of supporters around the world, communities, companies and governments to create real solutions for people and the planet. One of the ways we’re safeguarding the natural world is by raising funds to support our fields projects.
WWF employs knowledgeable, talented people who are passionate about engaging and inspiring others. People who share our optimism that it’s possible to change the world. People who are determined to make a difference.
YOUR MISSIONAs a “Supporters Service Officer”, you are the single point of contact for our supporters.
You deliver a clean and qualitative service for people who support the organization. These people are vital to the organization, and therefore we require a qualitative oral and written communication when they contact us by phone or e-mail.
YOUR CHALLENGEYou are the voice of WWF for our donors and supporters. They believe in our work and activities and they rely on us to make them proud of their contribution. Being 100% convinced yourself with our mission, you can share and transmit it to our main target group.
You will receive various questions, requests, reactions and concerns by phone and email (inbound) and the answers that you will bring will build or strengthen their confidence in our organization. You support change requests into the database, manage eventual reimbursements (in collaboration with Accounting), encode manual payments, update the procedures...
Naturally, we don’t only wait for reactions. We want to get to know our supporters and this is where your commercial sense will help us to reflect pro-actively about how we can better serve them, inform or involve them in our conservation actions (outbound).
You are also responsible for the quality of our supporter’s database and you are in regular contact with our suppliers and external partners.
