Profil

  • You have a Bachelor degree or more.
  • You have minimum 10 years relevant experience in philanthropy, private banking, account management or public relations.
  • You are fluent in French and Dutch, both oral and written. You have a good working knowledge in English.
  • You are an extrovert person and draw energy from interactions with people.
  • You can easily liaise with the target audience and are good at public relations.
  • You are not afraid to solicit people, while remaining respectful and diplomatic.
  • You feel an affinity for the sector and WWF’s mission.
  • An existing network (cultural sector, companies, philanthropy, private banking…) is an asset.
  • You have a driving license and are flexible (events, sometimes in the evening; trips…)

Description

Purpose of the job

To develop and extend a community of high-level contacts around WWF (ambassadors, majors donors) that can support the organization in various ways (financial and non-financial).


Your role

You carry out networking activities to expand the community of high-level contacts supporting the organization
Examples of tasks
  • You profile ambassadors and identify areas where they can be helpful for WWF.
  • You manage the major donors’ portfolio by interacting and meeting “face-to-face” by proposing them (in collaboration with the Field Programs department) to support projects of nature conservation and by reporting to them on the elected projects.

You support initiatives proposed by ambassadors & major donors
Examples of tasks:

  • You encourage ambassadors to develop initiatives and give support to this high-level audience in order for them to develop these (e.g. help with the organisation of conservation dinners, provide content and documentation, make the liaison with the appropriate staff at WWF if necessary).
  • You provide support for the organisation of lunches, dinners and conferences given by the CEOto this audience.

You ensure the administrative follow-up of the contacts and activities
Examples of tasks:

  • You keep track of the monitoring of the contacts (meeting reports, calls…)
