Description
Study/research activities aim to produce reliable data and acquire new knowledge for a specific practical purpose. They are characterised by the rigour of the methodologies used, compliance with ethical standards and the use of the knowledge produced.
For more than 15 years, Handicap International has been developing and implementing a methodology to improve the quality of rehabilitation service management via the RMS (Rehabilitation Management System) in some twenty countries.
The organisation would like to analyse how this tool and approach have been integrated and applied in intervention strategies, what factors have facilitated and limited its use and what the main changes observed through its implementation have been.
To this end, the organisation is undertaking a multi-country qualitative study/research project.
OBJECTIVES OF THE INTERNSHIP :
Reporting to the Rehabilitation Department, you will work within this department and be under the management of the Rehabilitation Manager in the Brussels office.
The aim of the proposed internship is to support the implementation of the multi-country qualitative study.
Your tasks will be as follows:
Activity 1: Carry out an initial qualitative analysis of responses to online surveys which have been shared with Handicap International representatives and partners in 21 intervention countries.
Activity 2: Identify the questions that require further investigation and contribute to carrying out additional surveys with pre-selected country representatives.
Activity 3: Carry out the second qualitative analysis of the additional responses collected.
Activity 4: Produce a report on the results obtained following interpretation of the data collected.
