Profil recherché :

- Vous avez une formation d’Ingénieur forestier, agronome ou équivalent (spécialisation ou expérience en développement forestier ou en agroforesterie)

- Vous avez une première expérience professionnelle dans un contexte similaire

- Vous avez de l’expérience dans la mise en place et le suivi des dispositifs d’appui-conseil en milieu paysan et l’organisation de filière de vente pour les petits producteurs

- Vous avez de l’expérience dans la gestion d’équipe

- Vous êtes rigoureux/rigoureuse et organisé(e)

- Vous montrez des capacités d’écoute, de communication et un sens de la diplomatie

- Vous savez être autonome, dynamique et adaptable

- Vous avez un esprit critique afin de conseiller au mieux les équipes locales

- Vous avez également un goût prononcé pour le travail de terrain et de proximité

- Vous maîtrisez l’anglais couramment (écrit/oral)

 

Les conditions :

- Mission statut VSI de 24 mois, renouvelable

- Indemnité mensuelle de 1400€ + allocation terrain

Qui sommes-nous ? :

Inter Aide est une association spécialisée dans la réalisation de programmes concrets d’aide au développement, conduits auprès de familles particulièrement démunies vivant en zones rurales. En 2024, Inter Aide gère 51 programmes répartis dans sept pays (Ethiopie, Guinée, Haïti, Malawi, Madagascar, Mozambique et Sierra Léone). Inter Aide intervient au Malawi auprès de communautés rurales particulièrement démunies depuis 1992. L’association est présente dans 10 des 28 districts du pays, en régions Centre et Sud. Dans le district de Lilongwe, un projet ambitieux d’embocagement des parcelles agricoles a été lancé en 2020. Inter Aide y soutient environ un millier de familles de petits paysans afin d’amorcer une dynamique de plantation conséquente sur leurs parcelles agricoles, dans un contexte de manque de terre disponible et de fortes contraintes d’accès au boisénergie. L’objectif du projet est de contribuer à la production individuelle de bois par la taille des arbres afin de satisfaire les besoins énergétiques des ménages ruraux et de permettre la génération de revenus additionnels grâce à la commercialisation de produits issus des plantations. En plus de bénéfices économiques directs, la gestion durable de ces plantations permet également d’améliorer les conditions de l’environnement agricole (conservation des sols et de l’eau, lutte contre le dessèchement et l’érosion des sols, conservation de la biodiversité).

La mission :

Vous serez basé(e) en milieu rural dans le bourg de Mitundu, à environ une heure de la capitale. Vous aurez pour principale mission de coordonner, développer et évaluer les activités mises en œuvre avec les villages de la zone d’intervention. Vous devrez également réaliser une prospection pour de futures zones d’intervention. Vous collaborerez avec une équipe technique de sept personnes ainsi qu’une équipe de cinq personnes en support.

A ce titre, vous serez à la charge :

- de l’encadrement, de l’évaluation et du renforcement de l’équipe locale ;

- de vous assurer de la qualité des formations techniques proposées aux paysans et à l’équipe, mettre à jour et rédiger des guides techniques et des guides de formation ;

- de veiller au respect de l’objectif d’accompagnement des paysans les plus démunis ;

- du suivi-évaluation de l’impact du programme (résultats des pépinières et des plantations, mesures des taux de survie, …) et la réalisation d’études (diagnostic des besoins, ciblage des villages, …) ;

- du développement de la collaboration avec les autorités et autres acteurs locaux ;

- de la coordination logistique du programme ;

- du reporting financier et opérationnel au Chef de secteur et à la responsable administratif et financier (comptabilités mensuelles et rapports d’activités réguliers) ;

- de la réflexion stratégique autour du contenu du programme (messages, approches) et du déploiement géographique de celui-ci (identification de futures zones d’intervention, relocalisation possible des bureaux)

Vous serez amené(e) à effectuer de fréquents déplacements dans les villages de la zone d’intervention et occasionnellement dans d’autres régions du pays (visites d’échange, prospections).

Working alongside the Malawi Civil Society Organisation Nutrition Alliance (CSONA) Based in Lilongwe, Malawi (with regular travel across the country) One year placement The Development Worker (DW) will work alongside the Malawi Civil Society Organisation Nutrition Alliance (CSONA), facilitating the capacity building of its Secretariat, and assisting the Alliance to develop a country specific advocacy strategy and campaign to increase coverage of nutrition issues in the media. The DW will engage with the media both at national and sub-national level and assist in the formation of advocacy campaigns, geared towards strengthening Scaling-Up Nutrition (SUN) commitments made by leaders at national level. S/he is expected to build information for influencing debate and advocacy campaigns for decision making at national and district level, as well as support the Secretariat in developing a project proposal to help the Alliance advance its advocacy efforts. The DW will identify capacity gaps with the Alliance for improved and effective coordination and coherence of nutrition programmes and issues for advocacy in Malawi. S/he will also facilitate trainings for the CSONA member organisations, including on the promotion of nutrition specific and nutrition sensitive interventions, at both district and national levels.
