GREENPEACE BELGIUM

is hiring a

PROJECT and DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST (m/f)

who dreams of working for a better environment, and who is looking for a challenge in an internationally structured NGO.

Greenpeace is an independent global campaigning organisation that acts to change attitudes and behaviour, to protect and conserve the environment and to promote peace.

 

Your tasks:

-          Develop and implement Monitoring, Evaluation, Learning & Development systems and tools to support Greenpeace Belgium (GPB) with a particular focus on project management.

-          Increase the overall competency level of GPB staff and teams by creating, in collaboration with the HR Manager, individual and/or team learning & development paths. Design and deliver training in disciplines identified as relevant to Greenpeace as part of the learning & development paths of individuals and teams.

-          Define, implement and enforce working methods and standards that will strengthen the professionalism of GPB staff and teams and that will increase the quality of their results. Facilitate the adoption of the methods, standards and tools by coaching the relevant staff and teams.

-          Co-create, adapt and develop toolkits, best practices, guidance notes, templates … for helping GPB staff.

-          Build a database of project evaluations with efficient searching tools, and encourage learning from past evaluations at the start of each new project.

-          Ensure that relevant documentation is available and accessible to all users. Collect feed-back from users, answer questions and share a knowledge base of practical hints and best practices.

-          Train, coach and mentor individual staff, team leaders and project leaders to help them increasing their skills and perform their function at national and global levels.
