Profil

Profile:

  • At least 3 years of experience in marketing/communications with a strong B2B component.
  • You’re bilingual (Dutch and French, spoken and written), proficient in English.
  • You like a challenge: bringing the commercial and NGO worlds closer together.
  • A communications or marketing degree (or equivalent through experience).
  • You’re a dynamic and happy team player.
  • You’ve got a ‘can do’, hands on approach with a drive for results.
  • An ability to work independently.
  • You’ve got a good knowledge of MS Office tools.
  • Extra digital skills (using a CMS, knowledge of html,…) is a plus.
  • Some basic knowledge of Photoshop/Indesign/Illustrator is a plus.
  • You’ve got a strong societal engagement, a passion for making the world a fairer place, bite by bite.

 

 

 

Description

Not all trade is fair! Farmers and workers don’t always get a fair share of the benefits.  Fairtrade works with farmer organizations, the industry and consumers to help putting this right.

The international Fairtrade system represents the world's largest and most recognized fair trade system.

 

Fairtrade Belgium is looking for

 

The best

Market Communication officer

in the world

(or at least in Brussels)

 

 

Function:

You are part of a team of 3 communication wizards in the wonderful land of Fairtrade. Your specific responsibilities are: BtoB, Products & Market communication.  

 

More specifically, you :

 

  • Support our Fairtrade market managers in developing appropriate communication tools (catalogues, POS material, …)
  • Work with communication departments of licensees and retail partners
    • Stay up to date on new Fairtrade products and packaging
    • Supporting commercial partners in their communications about Fairtrade
    • Developing (in store) communication/actions/campaigns together with them (esp. retail)
    • Use input from commercial partners (licensees and retail) to inform our audience on our website and social media
    • Support the communication team on campaigns throughout the year: Fair Trade Week, the International Fair Trade Day, end of year, …
