Description
Handicap International recruits a Head of Mission for its mission based in Erbil, Iraq.
The particularity of this mission within HI is to cover humanitarian, recovery and development activities through the implementation comprehensives approaches. The 3-years strategy 2017-2019 for the Iraq Mission has been defined in 2016 and will request yearly revision.
The position requires movement between the main office in Erbil and the different bases on the areas of intervention. It also requests a lot of contact with external stakeholders including the authorities, donors and other UN and non-government organization. The mission is evolving in a volatile context and requires as well a lot of attention security wise.It is a one year contract starting as from November 2017.
