Profil

You hold a post-graduate diploma in Finance and/or Business Administration. You have At least 2 years’ experience in humanitarian sector, with 6 months minimum in similar position.

You hold strong knowledge and understanding of donor requirements. You are recognized for your autonomy, your organizational and multitasking skills. You can demonstrate a high capacity of work and a challenges-seeker with high degree of flexibility.

Fluency in English is mandatory, Arabic or Kurdish is a plus

Description

Country: Iraqi Kurdistan – Erbil

 

3 bases (180 Staffs):

  • Erbil (35 staffs, 1 Admin, 1 cashier),
  • Dohuk (100 staffs, 1  Admin, 1 accountant, 1 cashier),
  • Kalar (35 staffs, 1 log admin, 1 admin, 1 cashier)

 

Donors: ECHO, AFD, SIDA…

 

Length of contract: 12 months

 

The position:

Under the supervision of the Country Director and based in Erbil among the coordination team (24 national and international staffs), you will ensure sound and transparent administration of funds by providing accounting and financial management consistent with the ACF financial management framework and local legislation. Your team consists of a deputy and an archivist. More precisely, you will be in charge of:

  • Contribute to the definition of mission strategy   
  •  Ensure high quality accounting for the mission
  • Ensure high quality cash management for the mission
  • Provide financial and budgetary management 
  •  Promote and    ensure financial collaboration and coordination with mission partners
  • Prevent and manage fraud and corruption 
  • Manage the Finance team in capital and be Technical/Support Manager of Finance Managers in the bases


  • Status:

Gross monthly salary ranging from €1805 to €2305 depending on relevant experience

Food and hygiene expenses, per diem, transportation costs, collective or individual accommodation, medical insurance

25 days of annual paid leaves and 20 days of rest and recuperation (R&R) per year
