Profil
The applicant: You have a significant experience of INGO sector in various support position (HR, Finance, Log) and its requirements in terms of compliance. You are able to make analysis, recommendations and to help implement and/or strengthen internal processes. You have good communication skills, and an ability to train and support.
Fluency in English (speaking and writing) is mandatory.
Action Against Hunger experience would be a plus
Description
Country: Jordan – based in Amman
Length of contract: 3 to 4 months
Jordan mission is a dynamic mission rapidly growing; with large scale WaSH projects being implemented, Livelihoods and Mental Health sectors are being now developed. Country strategy combines emergency and development projects to address needs of Syrian refugees and vulnerable Jordanian in a holistic approach. With a team of 12 international employees and more than 90 national colleagues, ACF Jordan office manages a portfolio of projects for more than 6 million €, in response to the Syria crisis.
Jordan is a safe country overall with free access to most part of Jordan and safe touristic areas.
It is a quiet country with a quite high level of security control. There are no particularly unsafe places in the Kingdom. However, some specific warnings and restrictions could be issued from time to time in order to manage safety and security of our staff properly in regards to the events.
The position: Under the supervision of the country director, you will assess and clarify the compliance framework for the Mission (in terms of HR, Logistics, and Finance), support the adoption of effective systems, tools, policies and procedures to ensure adherence.
More precisely you will have to:
· Assess the existing compliance management and internal control practices for support departments at mission’s level
· Define and propose recommendations to review the compliance framework for the country office
· Reinforce the compliance management practices and adherence to support function’s internal procedures
Status:
Gross monthly salary ranging from €1805 to €2305 depending on relevant experience
Food and hygiene expenses, per diem, transportation costs, collective or individual accommodation, medical insurance
25 days of annual paid leaves and 20 days of rest and recuperation (R&R) per year
